Is this biatch prestigious or a cash cow? They sent me an e-mail about it today. And I'm doing nothing but EPGY this summer anyhow, so why not?

What's EPGY? I did it last year and it's really fun. Cash cow? haha, they're a nonprofit the last time i checked. Prestigious? Well. . . it's what you make of it. I know ppl who did it for all of their high school summers going to harvard, dartmouth, columbia, stanford, northwestern and the like. and then there are ppl who do jsa who aren't into the whole resume-whoring thing. up to you. the profs are amazing, the ppl i met are probably going to stay my friends for life, i learned a lot. . . but it wasn't exactly an anchor for my college apps. up to you.

Is anyone going to the Summer Symposia? I couldn't go the the Summer School as I'll be working this summer. I'm from Ohio, so I'll be going to the Symposia in Columbus.

I did it last year too, and it was singlehandedly the best experience of my life. I did Stanford JSA, and I still talk to my classmates. Even though it was over $3000, it was well worth it. "Cash cow" is definitely not one of its personality traits, hehe.
