i didnt do any EC's during freshman year, im starting everything sophomore
Chinese HammeredDulcimer (musical instrument -unique)
10 years experience
starting band
international dulcimer group(its international)
my own cd (junior year)
bimonthly performances on the dulcimer
weekly volunteer: about 5 hours done a week total
volunteer work: teach 3 kids dulcimer
volunteer tutoring: adult and children : ESL
volunteer tutoring: math
Attention for diversity in action (ADA)
math club
chess club
capay (equal rights thing.. kinda protest group)
National honor society (junior yr)
academic decathlon
philosophy club
science club (starting it myself)
would this look impressive on a college application, or would i be over doing it. i intend to participate in all of these if not most because of time restriction (ie meeting times collaborate)
would this be a good, solid EC?

The only crappy ECs are the ones you do to impress colleges. And asking others if an EC looks good is implying that you're doing just that.

I second that.
Do what you love. Don't do things to do them.

vision...good luck in college, that's all i have to say to you.
...yeah Ec/greskel are right, relax and have fun, the best part about ec's is being rewarded twice through: self-pride/interesting social life and college admission...half asleep don't analyze.
