For those of us ready to go to college next year, now is a time when we are feeling great, most of us know where our home will be and the are excited about the prospect of life away from home (the afforementioned statement not applicable for "mama's boys" or "daddy's girl"). So you think you're in paradise, eh? Well I would like what are some of your worst fears between actually arriving at your destination and your first semester?

I am scared of...
1. forgetting something important back at home
2. how long it will take me to find friends
3. the actually difficulty of classes
anyone else have anything?

kinda scared of overdoing it like I did this year... I enjoy classes, clubs, sports, and socializing all waay too much and this year I pretty much ran myself into the ground. I'm almost healed, but I am really unsure about whether I will be able to hold myself back enough to keep my sanity in college.

scared of peer pressure. i've been able to say no to drugs and alcohol for my whole life, but i'm really worried that people will put even more pressure on me in college just because they think they have freedom now and there's no parents around which means more drinking. i hope there are people at college who aren't going to want to get wasted every friday and saturday night. :\
