Hi, I was wondering if getting a job is good to colleges? And if it is what type of job?

Whether its good for colleges or not a job is a fabulous thing to devote some of your time to. It helps you gain responsibility, leadership, and of course MONEY! :-P
For me there was no choice, I had to get a job otherwise there was no car, no going out on weekends, no shopping, and no college so for me a job was essential. For you, it may not be. Whether you need a job or not I suggest getting one but find a job in an area you like. If you're a shop-aholic, work retail. If you love animals, try a vet. For me, I love all the arts so I work in a pottery studio.
So, there is my advice and whether you decide to get a job or not, good luck with the college process
