Hey, just wondering if anyone else got nominated by their school (if you live in Ohio) to go. I think it would be a lot of fun, though I'm not "set in stone" to go.

Go! Although I didn't go to the one in Ohio, Boys State is always worth the experience.

My son went to NY Boys state -- quite an experience -- NY boys state is a cross between boot camp & model congress! If you are in doubt about going, check out the list of famous Boys State alums (presidents, senators, astronauts, athletes, etc) -- it's available online. Remember that you are eligible for Boys State only once (between junior & senior year)!

Does anyone know how good going to Boys State looks on a college resume? Is it something that turns some heads?

I'm at boys' state right now. I wonder if I've met you, crazy andy. I'm one of the appeals court judges (the one with the initials DC).
