the test is supposed to be in april and they are supposed to send us back an admission tickets after we submitted our package. Did you guys get your admission tickets yet?

There is an entrance exam for the SHP which covers earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, a broad range of pre-calc math topics. It is the single most important part of the entire application.

I thought shp stood for their summer pogram, not their science honors program

I called the phone number on their website - tickets should come monday or tuesday. Good luck to all taking the exam! Maybe I'll see you there.

I personally think the SHP is a lot more useful than the summer program because

1. it is much more selective
2. it is free
3. it covers sci/math subjects in depth whereas the science program teaches what you can learn in highschool.

i dont see the point in the summer program. It cost like $2000 also.

I think that the program is only for like ppl who are within a 70 mile radius of the school
