I live about one minute from Miami-Dade College, but since I'm paranoid, I won't tell you what high school I go to.

I just want to see who else on here lives in Miami; it's shocking to me to actually see Miamians concerned about "coleje". :P

I like it here. It's big so you can always find people similar to you, and ignore the rest. It also has great weather. To anybody looking at the University of Miami, I highly recommend it.

University of Miami is a nice school but it's outrageously expensive...

I love Miami, but my parents would never pay to spend $30,000+ to send me to U of M when I could go to U of F, which is more prestigious, for about $5,000 a year. I'm planning to move back here after I graduate college.

Yes it is. I know people with like 2.something gpas that got into UM. Its disgusting. I know NO ONE who got rejected.

i dont go to dwyer, thats thething..i go to J.P. Taravella in Coral Springs...i moved in december and im a senior, so i travel an hour each way to school..crazy stuff..

Shhh, people get into UF and UW – Madison with GPA's that “low”, too. Oh, and I don’t know anybody who was rejected from UW – Madison, and it’s ranked almost 30 spots higher than UM.

Getting into a the top colleges (top 75) isn't hard at all, but overachievers are usually reluctant to admit that.

Haith, thats because everyone in miami has had plastic surgery.

Getting into a top college is hard...and totally random. I see peoeple with excellent ECs and 1500s getting rejected from NYU, and deadbeats from my school getting accepted to swathmore...wtf...
