swizzbeatz, you are absolutely revolting. I can't believe that people like you attend college. Why attend? If that's your motive, money's going down the drain. Boy do I feel sorry for you.

By Titanz05 (Titanz05) on Wednesday, April 07, 2004 - 07:24 pm: Edit

i think this statement :

"73) getting the chance to take an underwater basket-weaving class for fun without having to worry if you should have taken a hard class just because it looks good"

epitomizes college in a way. It is sort of a break from the slavish mentality towards getting into college (doing stuff you really dont want too). I also hope to do my own "underwater basket-weaving" kinda stuff thatll make me happy, not some 60 year old college administrator.

just my 2 cents.

What about grad school??! Harvard won't accept you if you take underwater basket weaving!!!

BTW, Dagnytaggart, whats wrong with what swizzbeatz. College is all about freedom and doing what you want to do. While I'm sure hes not going to college to drink, smoke, and get girls, those are things that one can look forward to in college.

Edited. Dial back the language or you will have to post on non College Confidential boards.
