naruto, i've read the manga and watched it all makes me really sad, has life lessons, and amazing music. what really pisses me off is how the corny english translations make all the money here ;( Gaara's childhood, Orichimaru vs. The Third was hot and the character who represents me the MOST ROCKKKKKKKKK LEEEEE! "I do not know the meaning of defeat, my determination guarentees my victory." Anyone notice how the fourth looks like naruto ?

Sigh. The Fourth Hokage is Naruto's father. It is fairly explicitly laid out in the manga and the anime. And Uchiha Itachi is definitely the coolest character ;) He's the only one in the series that I can think of, other than Jiraiya-san, who has never been defeated.

Naruto is quite the anime, I must agree. Kishimoto-san was specially trained by Shounen Jump. I've got all 209 chapters of the manga, plus the pilot and the 3-page special, and all 75 episodes of the anime on my HDD. Good stuff. If you're looking to get into it, I'd suggest ANBU/AOne's fan-subtitling of the episodes - they're the most consistently accurate and high-quality works.

yeah bakasan SUCKS horrible quality not even funny how bad they encode. I actually encoded for anbu when they were brand new had to stop because the dumps weren't worth all the time
