i was writting a post on the "n/e one famous go to your high school?" (Sorry i totally ripped off that other post) when i realized that there are a lot of famous people that live near me but are to old to be in high school.

rapper E-40 (you would know him a: if u like hip hop and, b: if you lived in norcal) terry mcmillian (waiting to exhale), Chris Mullin, Fred Biletnikoff, NFL Hall of Famer Joe Morgan, Hall of Famer, David Duffield, PeopleSoft CEO, Hillary Duff.

Ohio's moronic governor, Bob Taft, lives a block or so from me. Everyone in my suburb got really excited over the summer, Eric Clapton was looking into buying a house here (his wife is from the area), but he didn't... Supposedly the person that did move into the (enormous) house runs some sort of porn site :-/.

The former governor of Pennsylvania (Mark Schweiker) went to a school about 15 minutes away from me, so I'm assuming he lived nearby. And Troy Vincent, a player for the Philadelphia Eagles lives pretty close.

Hillary Duff would go to my high school if she wasn't an actress, she went to my elementary school for a year. Roger Clemens lives in my neighborhood, the best pitcher in the world at the moment i believe...I'm not sure how well known he is by the average person.

well, considering we live in the same area, i guess all the people you listed, Magoo. Although the only one I was actually aware of is Hilary Duff.

oh yeah, some guy from the Raiders lives in my former best friend's neighborhood. Whenever I went to her house, he'd be outside tossing a football with his kid.

When he played for the LA dodgers, Raul Mondesi used to live about a block away. Another LA Dodger player, Nomo, was actually my neighbor. Kevin Costner (or however you spell his name) lived about 5 minutes away. Chuck Norris also lived nearby.

I live near Jerome Bettis and Bill Cowher of the Steelers and close to where Christina Aguilera used to live. In fact, Bill Cowher would always be at my basketball and soccer games when my team would play his daughter's team.

My dad used to room with Exodus and he went to many Metallica parties. He was good friends with Kirk Hammett's wife. And there used to be hangouts with Metallica in his garage....

Metallica gave him a fish by the name of Piranhica.

I nearly met the lead singer for Machinehead. He was standing behind me at a concert. Machinehead used to play my dad's songs. Things were so busy at the concert that we didn't have time (he was doing the sound). I'll meet him sometime, though.
