A couple of weeks ago, I was set on Cornell for Architecture. I got a likely letter and was very excited. However, Syracuse just gave me a $60000 scholarship for architecture, and I have also been admitted to Virginia Tech and UVA's progams for architecture.....I really don't know where to go now...can someone give me the advantages and disadvantages of each?

Dude, take the money and run. If finances are a major issue for your family, take the scholarship and pay the remainder. Cornell is a great school (as is Virginia Tech) but the opportunity of getting $60,000 is amazing. My advice is biased because my family does not have that much money, so basically I'm going where I get the most money (so far $5,000 at Rutgers and College of NJ) but that's because my of family's situation. So again, I would take the scholarship - it will relieve a lot of stress from paying student loans later in life.
