Ok, so there's this girl I wanna ask, and we know each other pretty well. We hang out on weekends quite a bit. Our prom is on May 7, so when do you think would be a good time to ask her? I gotta do some stuff now, so i'll be back with more details later, we talk time now, though.

Yeah, and she also needs time to find the perfect dress, and a lot of girls at my school are already shopping. Ask her this week. Just don't make a big deal of it, but don't be so casual that you're like, "So you wanna go to the prom er whut?" Just be direct, tell her you like spending time with her, and that you'd love to take her to the prom. Don't embellish, don't say, "Unless you have other plans", just say it confidently (as much as possible), and I'm sure she'll say yes!
