What do you think about a girl wearing those long gloves for the prom? I think it looks so sophisticated and princess-like but my boyfriend hates them and thinks they look stupid. That's the reason I didn't get them last year, cause he was so against them. What do you think about them?

I think they're pretty but I'd hate to wear them all day. Maybe just for pictures and not for dancing.

Gloves are kind of tacky, but you should wear them because you want to. He shouldnt tell you what to wear.

if they go with the dress, i'd wear them.

I say go for the gloves, but make sure the dress can carry its own without relying on the gloves (so you can take them off, if need be).

Then again, as this board has proven, its not something really accepted in our time, unfortunately.

I dont think they are tacky at all...gloves were generally an accessory of the high class in times of old.

They are distinctive and set you apart from commoners.

it's up to you...they will hardly add to the dress and i doubt if they're comfortable...i dunno, never tried gloves....hmmm...
