I have the National Latin Exam tomorrow, does anyone have any tips? I am in Latin I

that was the easiest thing i have ever taken.
Seriously, no standardized test even compares. If i was unlucky, i missed 2 or maybe 3, and i have like a C in AP latin

i see now that you're in latin 1. my test was obviously for latin 4, but i assume that for you the test should be just as easy as mine was for me.

My son is in Latin 1 and said he thinks he got a perfect score (and he is not usually that confident). |He said it was really easy.

I got a perfect for levels I, II and III prose (they gave me a dictionary for getting 3 perfects in a row or sumtin), i took poetry, poetry's honestly not too hard, but it is a sort of challenge to get a perfect. im pretty sure i missed 1 this time.

I took the NLE today. I missed about 5ish. Then again, I am taking the Level V-VI. I'm in Latin VII but I still don't know anything... Back in the day I did get a silver on the Latin II one though (in 7th grade no less!). Good luck to you guys on it as well.

Aah, the NLE. This year is my last year of taking Latin, since I'm in Latin IV Poetry, and there's no more after that at my school. I'm pretty confident I got my 4th Gold in a row though, but I don't think I got a Perfect like last year (one of only 57 for Prose!) I got a 39 in Latin 1 in 8th grade, another 39 in Latin 2 Freshmen year. This was the first one of the four that I found to be really challenging, a lot of tough culture, 13 questions on a poem I only half understood, and tough grammar. I'm guessing I got around 37, since that's what I averaged on the old ones off the NLE website. I'm pretty sure I got the scansion wrong (darn ellisions!), and I missed the alliteration question, and another one about the story, but other than that I think I got them all right.

I'm in Latin I, and I missed three that I know of: the Mt. Vesuvius, the Roman House, and the Hercules' Pelt questions. I basically had a nervous breakdown that day because I love Latin to death, want to major in it (yes, premature, I know), and I'd gotten perfect scores on some other practice tests.

I won a gold medal for Latin I and II with scores around 38. This year, I've managed to forget nearly all grammar, since we've mostly just been translating and our teacher is really lax on things like tenses + verb forms. Anyway, I probably got something in the mid 30s, I thought the passage was a lot harder than the ones on the practice tests we did.

Wow, i feel dumb now! I took the NLE on Thursday, and missed around 7, i think. It was level IV Poetry, but considering that it's my senior year and i could care less what i got, i'm not too bummed. I didn't really try much, so a prospective silver isn't bad...
2 silvers, 2 golds under my belt now.

Freshmen and Sophomore year I got a Magna Cum Laude and Silver Medal respectivly. I'm not a hardcore Latin student by any means (not doing AP). I haven't gotten the results yet, but I thought that the Poetry one this year was kind of rough.

I got a gold medal last year for Latin I with one wrong (stupid Roman appartment building...grumble grumble) and I got a perfect paper in Latin II this year! :D
