YAY I got into groton, going in as a sophmore, who else did? I'm happy with this but I still got Exeter, Andover, and Deerfield to wait for! YAY!!!

erm ok, I got 96% overall ssat, sent piano recording, sent cello recording, basketball track and soccer jv, went to northwestern ctd camp if you guys know of that, self teaching korean, online classes on java 2, do alot of webdesign/html stuff, went to engineering camp, won like every writing contest, geopgraphy, math, science contest in middle school, straight A 4.0 from preschool (lol) to 9th grade. 20 hours of community service. What else, 99% on the PLAN I sent in, Anything else I'm forgetting? My interview was actually bad I thought as well as my recs (but the letter said they were good ;), but my essays were good and I really tried to show I wanted the opportunity.

I got into Groton for the 9th grade, im in 8th right now... Gian, did you feel ambivalent of going when u first got accepted? i feel really really wish washy

bruce- since you are lucky enough to be accepted at more than one school, i suggest that you visit your top choices to distinguish between them. sit in on classes, taste the food in the cafeteria, ask the teachers questions, watch a sports game, and possibly stay in one of the dorms for a night. stand in the middle of the quad for 5 mins just to try to get a feel of the school. picture yourself walking the quads to go to your classes. every school has a different feel. if a particular school stands out to you, trust your instincts. the first five mins when you first walk onto campus is probably the most critical moment and it can have a huge impact on how you view the school later on. but try to keep things in perspective, and don't let any one negative factor prevent you from fully considering the school. i truly wish you the best of luck in making the decision. i'm sure it's an exciting time for you, so try to enjoy it as best as you can

omg!!! i got into groton for 8th grade!!! it's quite unbelievable. i was so worried with my ssat scores and guess what i saw when i entered my admission decision code! it said, It's a good news. Congratulations!! i'm SOOO happy SO! who else is going next year?

Congrats to all you Groton kids! Are you guys coming for revisit day? The best way to experience Groton would probably be to spend a day on the circle.

oh and if you go to Groton you're going to have to start using the terms IInd form for 8th grade, IIIrd form for 9th grade, Ivth for 10...etc.... no more of this sophmore, freshman business!
