which school?

by the way do any of you know when and how they notify

You need to be nominated by your high school; sorry you can't just "apply". After nomination, you write some essays and the individual gov's school selects about 100 students to attend. My so greatly enjoyed Sci and Tech last summer.

Not all states require nominations. I know New Jersey may require nominations, but here in Pennsylvania, anyone can apply. The process is almost the same. Students apply to any schools (2 max) and have to write essays,and need teacher and conselor rec's. For PA, we'll get our replies around first or third week of April. My guess as to their form of reply is it will most likely be by mail.
