Parents...do you fight w/ your kids often? I consider myself a friendly person & i get alone pretty well with my friends and teachers...but somehow i always seem to manage to either anger or disappoint my parents...i know it's off topic, and it's just typical teenager whining...so don't reply if you don't give a damn...I myself probably would think this message rather stupid after i cooled down tomorrow...

I used to fight a lot with my older son because both of us tend to be opinionated and inflexible and we both tended to push each other's buttons. Despite fighting with him, I also loved him fiercely. 
My younger son is more empathic and flexible so we don't fight as much. He has the talent of being able to read people's moods so if he notices I'm tired or irritated, he doesn't do or say things that lead to arguments.
It is pretty normal for teens and parents to have a lot of clashes. This is particularly true between teens and their parents of the same gender.
