Would it be impossible if i took AP Physics B along with AP Bio next year???
Considering my other classes
AP English 11
AP US History
AP Calculus AB
AP Physics B
AP BIO
Spanish 3

Does this look like an impossible schedule to anyone?

I must warn you though about taking that schedule, Ap English is a TON of writing, and Your mind will be filled with reading and memorizing Bio and US history topics. Plus you will have to learn a whole new way to do math(Calc) and you will have to study physics too.

It'll be tough, but I think you can do it. Go for IT!

the two sciences isnt a problem, but the English with the US History might be. But GO FOR IT!!! Heh im currently taking AP Physics B, Physics C, and Ap English, with BC calc

Well its a matter of what u can and what u are willing to do.

For starters, I'd like to say that my schedule as a senior is VERY similar to the one above but urs might be a ting harder (then again I'm more liberal arts than math and science so my 5 aps lean towards that)

EVERYONE i know tried to talk me out of it.

Depending somewhat on the school though, its crazy hard.

Heres what you MUST know before deciding to do this:

1. You are signing away ur social life. Period.
2. You should be able to function with <3 hours sleep a night.
3. You have to be able to do all of the above quite well. Dont sign up unless you understand the material really well/ are willing to work inhumanely hard next year.
4. You may get the occasional B. You may get the a C+ as well. With 5 APs, you gotta pick your battles.
5. Consider if the work is worth the grade/getting into college. For some ppl its just not worth it. I, however, would not change a thing.
6. Important side note: last year I took two VERY difficult math courses (one AP) concurrently. I did okay in one and terrible in another. My grades and understanding of the material would be much better if i only took ONE math last year. I hate math now. However, it was a "boot camp" worth going thru because it made me a stronger person and made me realize I dont want to do anything related to math. ever.

Uh... 5 AP's is nothing.
I had a ton of sleep last year too. I actually only had 4 last year: APUS,calc bc, phys b (self-studied c), chem. This year I have 5 and I still get tons of sleep. I play waaaayyy too many computer games now this year.

Well i love math and science (especially physics) so those two dont seem to be much of a problem at all. I find English pretty easy since i can express my thoughts quite well. Iam in GT English 10 (pre-ap) and i have a solid 98%. One of only 3 A's in a class of 25.
I like social studies, but i have heard rumors of how hard AP USH is, but i have to do what i have to do. So i feel that i can handle this courseload as long as i work harder than i ever have before! LOL

It honestly depends on the school (like I said) and on YOU.

In some schools some classes are easier than others. Ask around. The seniors are an invaluable resource. They may even give u advice on what gets u higher grades in those classes, teachers pet peeves etc

My GPA WITH the 5 aps is the highest its been in my life. Then again I knew that this was the year to get my grades up while working my ass off.

The APUSH class I took was easy IMO. But thats cause I'm a history person. Are you a history person? You basically know if u are or not.

I took AP Calc this year even though I'm not a math person lol and have a C+ (this might be the grade if you end up taking history cause ur the "inverted me" lol).

It depends on how much you wanna work ur @ss off this year and next. I'm a senior and currently have 5 APs. It's not overwhelming but definitly A LOT of work. Specially Calculus and Gov. (lots of papers due) But it's all worth it in the end.

Speaking of which, I have to pull an all-nighter tonight and all this coming week for finals. Sad....

Not bad.

AP English - Lit or Language? Lit, the test is more difficult, but Language has a more difficult class.
AP US History - Ouch. #3 most failed AP
AP Calculus AB - Easy. you'll 5 it easily.
AP Physics B - Oh man. Physics B? That's quite easy. Don't worry about this at all. I took it last year and aced the test without studying much more than a simply Physics II class at school. Phys C is much more difficult.
AP BIO - Just lots of memorization.
Spanish 3 - Non-AP? pffft ;)

Don't worry about it. you'll do fine. I'm taking Eng.Lit, Phys. C, CompSci AB, Econ, and Calc 3 (multivar and linear alg), and I'm getting by. you'll be ok.
