hey, what should one wear to a college interview?

My interview was at an alumni's house. I wore khakis and a sweater since my friends say that dressing up makes one look like an international student. lol

Wear nice, tailored black pants, black shoes (none with chunky heels), and a nice sweater.
Go minimal with jewlery-a simple bracelet, necklace, or earrings and makeup.

You don't need to wear a full suit and bring a briefcase.
