Wow...

Put it in a tub of water, find the displaced water (measure volume displaced). Now, find the density (usu. done by just measuring current temperature), and convert to mass.

Uh... you might need to wrap it in a waterproof layer (maybe foil?). Then, you would actually need to also find the mass of the foil used to wrap the tissue box.

compare it to paperclips.

Wouldn't a box of tissues just disintegrate if placed in water? I mean that could work for a rock or something, but I don't think it would work for a tissue box (assuming it's like cardboard).

compare it to something with a known weight, i.e. a one pound barbell, a pound of sugar, etc. Then, if its less, you could use the sugar, measure out amts of it until you have the same weight (taking into acct the weight of the container the sugar is in) and then measure the sugar in a cup measure (or other measuring tool) and figure that out relative to a pound of sugar. Just an idea

Call up or email the manufacturer and ask! (Note: this may not get you a great grade, but will certainly amuse your teacher.)
