Today was a sad, sad day for me. Well actually not at first, i went throughout the day having a great day, great discussions in Chemistry and World History then it came time for Geometry. I find geometry usually extremely easy but today i got my test back from last thursday and i look at it and theres a big red C on it!!!
I swear i almost cried back there in the back of the room! The quarter ends oct. 31 and i hope i can rebound from this and end with an A. My god iam soo depressed today. I almost quit my soccer team today cause i couldnt think strait and my coach was calling me out all of the time because i was making mistakes. Man I had straight A's but now i prb have all A's and a C in geometry!
Have any of you ever gotten a bad grade on a test when you expected an easy A? And how did you cope with it?
Sorry if it sounds dumb but iam really depressed here.

OH MY YES! Every year I have gotten a C on a test, but in the end I nearly 90% of the time get an A in the class. I have never gotten a C before in a class. Don't worry about it. Concentrate on your upcoming quizzes and tests instead.

i failed at least 3 quizes and 1 test nearly in math so far HORRIBLE i have to review THE LADY IS CRAZY ITS SUPPOSE TO BE A ALG2 CLASS AND SHE STARTS WITH CALCULUS NICE ONE MAN in a PREP school too

i got like 95-100 on all my chem tests but on one lab i got a 77 but now i'm averaging a 90 for the quarter so just do well on ur other tests.

Bless your heart Haithman, you'll rebound from this like a champ! That test score was just a cosmic hiccup. See?---already, you're over it. Glad your teacher is giving you another shot at the test. But even if he had decided not to, you would still pull out an "A" at the end of the marking period, because you are a truly committed student. Personally speaking from a "Mom's heart", I have to say that your reaction was kind of---well (don't hate me) "cute". My D often reacts the same way you do to an unexpected "C", and I have to tell her the same thing. It's just a glitch.

well im number 2 in my class and then i decided to take ap chem this yr... im have a B in there and im actually workin in there... im so mad...sometimes i really hate grades and school competition ... thats really cool how u get to retake.. the world would have to end before that ever happened in the crappy high school i go to...

Well my teacher let me take another test after school on friday (of course he wouldn't let me take the same one), and I recieved an A! Woot!
