I was wondering if anyone was absent at their High School graduation, or if you would do that, and what reasons would be "big" enough for you to be absent? Thanks for your input!

umm... one of my friends didnt go to his graduation ...hes one of those nonconformist that hated our school....y would u not want to go?... im sure that u can pick up ure diploma later... talk to ure counselor...

Actually, I love school, and I'd be graduating with a lot of Honors, but a group that I'm involved with currently has a big event scheduled on the same night, and it's an opportunity I wouldn't want to miss. Just wondering if anyone was in a similar situation...
