ok.. i read somewhere that you can read your life to success.. or something like that...and also that you can improve your SAT test scores..(such as SAT II Writing, Literature and SAT I Verbal) by simply reading alot...

so just wondering if this is true or not.. and if it is..if you can give me a list of good novels that i could read...plz..thank you..come again.!!

Well, there are many who have clashing opinions on reading.

I dont know if reading will guarentee your life will be a success, but it makes you look a bit more worldy and sophisticated. And you're bound to pick up at least some vocabulary words.

Reading a lot is said to help with Critical Reading sections on the SAT. Some agree, some don't. Its all up to what you believe. As far as I see it I have nothing to lose by reading more.

By reading more and more, you'll gradually improve your Words Per Minute reading speed, also.

From what I believe that you'll subconsciously learn words and how to draw conclusions from parts of books. It'll just keep improving as you read.

As for a book list, I've been working on The College Board's 101 Great Books lists. It seems to cover a lot of different nationalities (latin, black, etc. literature), styles, and most of the important things everyone SHOULD read while in high school...
