Hi there! I was wondering.. I am in the IB Diploma program in my school and during the 1st year, students only take their foreign language exams (which are only offerred Standard Level as opposed to Higher Level). The other exam results will be obtained in July of 2004, after we all get accepted/rejected from colleges. Also, colleges usually give credit only for HL subjects. However, are SL subjects of no importance whatsoever?? I only will have had the chance of taking one exam before applying and it was a SL class (exam - got a 7). Is there any value in that or not really? Thanx!

i'd like to know also, because i'll have 3 SL exams by the end of high school, and it feels like a big waste.
