Next year I'm going into AP Chem. I need to know what math to go into. I'm in Pre-Calc honors now, and I have an A- (0.1% away from an A). Should I go into Calc BC or AB next year? I cant take AP Physics C, which I plan on taking along with AP bio senior year, (I was in AP Physics B this year) unless I take Calc BC. Also, if I take AB, then I'm limited my senior year mathwise because I wouldnt be allowed to take multi-variable calc. I'd have to take stats, and that might look bad for college. So what should I take? Also, at my school, its really hard to move up or down; once your teacher puts you in class (I was recomended for AB) its hard to move up. So, after I've now confused EVERYONE, what math should I take?

BC covers the same material as AB, plus some extra stuff. The main difference is that it moves faster. It sounds like you're pretty good at math. You would probably be okay going straight to BC if the rest of your schedule leaves you adequate time to do the extra work. Why don't you talk to the teacher who recommended AB and see why they recommended that?

This is my scheadule:
two trimesters of sports
an elective (this semester its digital imaging)
english 11 honors (which at my school is as hard as AP, so I might just go to AP)
AP Chem
Honors US History
Latin I
Hebrew 3 Honors
and an honors Bible studies class
I might see if I can drop the elective and take AP Stats instead. SO what do you guys think about BC and Stats, or is taking both and Chem too much (with my swcheadule)?
