If I am planning to major in pre-med, what community college courses should i look into?

I would tend to look at core courses that might transfer. Things like English 101, 102 come to mind. The advantage of taking something like that at CC is that the classes will almost certainly be much smaller than at most colleges. Check with your local CC about whether you can transfer these courses. They may not know about specific colleges you may be interested in, but they should be able to tell you the schools that have accepted them, which will give you an idea of their validity. Summer sessions are particularly fruitful in this regard, because a lot of the people taking them are college students home for the vacation.

I will say look carefully at the teachers of the courses: some are better than others, some are much better. As an example, at our local CC one section of English 101 and 102 are taught by someone who also teaches at CMU. Much smaller class, much cheaper than CMU but the same professor. Existing students are a good source of info about such teachers. However, beware of teachers who are considered "easy", since their classes are unlikely to have the academic rigor which will adequately prepare you: it's not enough to take the class and pass, it's what you learn.

I would think core courses, courses which you wish to pursue as a major, courses your school may not offer (ie. Enviormental science, C++) and maybe even classes in which you plan on taking SAT IIs in (so you can do well on those) and something you will be doing in the school year after the summer so you get an excellent start!
