I plan to start a club at my high school. What are the steps? How do you start a club? Since it's almost the end of the school year, should I wait until next term to do so?? Also, next year I'll be a senior, would it take a long time to start a club? If it would, then can I still put it on my college application? Thanks!

There's usually a form that you have to fill out(you can find this in the main office). It depends on your school on how long it takes and what kind of a club it is. If it's something controversial, it might take a long time to get it started.

At our school you just have to get a teacher to sign a sheet of paper and then make a minute announcement during the clubs assembly and you're set. I'm gonna start the Chess Club and Footbag club next year.

ur so lucky. we're having a budget cut so they're not going to allow any new clubs. Also, it takes about 6 months to get it started...having for it to go through the principal, the student council. i just kinda gave up!

In prep schools is different, cause theirs more endowment also schools give you money and can promote your clubs, is so fun
