I am a high school senior in a heavy situation when contemplating my future. I will be attending the University of Maryland at College Park and I cannot decide what I want to major in. I have a desire right now to teach, and to go overseas--England most notably--and teach there. However, I am unsure of exactly the conditions and provisions for doing this. I was wondering if there are any UK citizens here who could enlighten me on the current education system over there? I also want to choose education just so I don't have to deal with conforming to society's double standard of being an exemplary citizen, yet, at the same time try and work my way up the corrupt "corporate" ladder. Can anyone please offer me some constructive advice? It is most appreciated, thanks in advance!
