Well, we've been at college for over a month now and I figured it was time to weigh in on where we are right now...in every sense! How are classes/dorms? What do you think of Leo's? =) Has the bookstore made you broke yet? Having fun? I'm really enjoying myself here (despite all the work!) and I love the people I'm living with. If anyone's interested in languages, I really recommend Russian, because the professors are awesome! And I guess Leo's is pretty good, too, even though it can get a little monotonous. =)

I figure this might be a good way to catch up and also maybe let prospectives have a glimpse of G'town life, so it's someone else's turn now!

Great post - I would love to hear from you guys!
My daughter is home now (actually she is out with friends!). We went to get her for the weekend so had a chance to chat on the way home. She is enjoying herself too. She didn't say much about Leos so I guess I should ask!

Study hard!

What's Leo's?

Leo's... let's not talk about that. It depresses me that I have to go in an hour or two. PS omelette's are pretty decent though.

Classes are okay. I love Problem of God and adore Father King's 11:15 mass (I have King for pog too). He's an amazing jesuit. I honestly don't know if I would go to church if he didn't lead it.

I absolutely adore it here. Lots of partying, lots of studying (and my priorities don't rank in that order, just to clarify).

Leo's is one of the cafeterias, Calidan. =) Fallentear, is that 11:15 on Sunday? I'm not sure if I've gone to one of his Masses but everyone speaks so highly of him that I might as well!

ah yes, Leo's...do i even need to say anything about that place?lol. The food is...ok, depending on how hungry you are and desparate for food. Especially if you don't have money to go eat out every day, lol. Classes are great, except astronomy(sigh, i don't even like typing that word). Tons of fun, campus is great, DC is great, etc.

hmmmm, the Mass...I honestly don't feel the need to discuss the various "masses" on campus, lol. If you want to go to the "real" Mass, go to 10pm or 11am(not sure about the 11:15pm one, never been to that). Avoid the 8pm and 12:30 Masses like the plague! For more info, see my article in The Hoya(Losing Our Identity).

And yes, i'm shameless:)
