are official score reports for SAT/ACT/SAT IIs needed? my counselor said to just send in copies, but i want to double check that this is ok. thanks!

Almost every school wants the OFFICIAL score reports to be sent. And that is the case even though your school transcript often has the scores on it as well. Please send official reports from the College Board. Your counselor is not correct. It is ok in the meantime to give unofficial forms or copies but you must have official forms sent DIRECTLY from the College Board to each college on your list.
