Hi, I live in NJ and I am Indian. I would like to do some sort of engineering. Since I also like bio, I will keep it as a fallback major. Here are my stats:
SAT I:
630V 670M = 1300
670V 730M = 1400
SAT II:
770 math iic

??? writing in Nov.

EC'c:
-Basically big on music, all bands, jazz, marching (section leader), wind ensemble etc...
-I like sports:varsity tennis 3 years, freshman year was JV
-will surely join other athletic clubs
-some clubs
-went to Cornell and took Stat and programming had a blast
-went to India and visited an orphanage for two weeks, probably a great essay topic.....
-volunteering at local hospital maybe 150 hrs
-NHS
-Chem Olympiad junior year school team got 1st in state

So, what do you guys think? I looked at the video CD Umich sent me, it seemed like a great campus. What are my chances, I really like the location because it is near Detroit (my dream is to become an automotive engineer). My chances?

You've got a decent chance, provided your unweighed GPA is over 3.7 and your class rank is in the top 10%. Apply ASAP if you haven't done so already.
