Background: Asian (Bangladesh)
Gender: Male
SAT: 720(Math) 680 (verbal)
SAT II: 600 (Writing) 710 (Math IC)
GPA: 4.00
Rank: ? (Most likely 52/365)
AP's by time of graduation: 5 (Euro Hist, Art Hist, Lit, Calc, Bio)
Activities:
Spring/Winter Track (Varsity since sophmore year), Cross Country (9-10)
National Honor Society, History Honor Society,
Interact, Frisbee Club, Tutoring, Babysat
Couple all this with solid reccomendations and a solid essay, what are my chances?

You have decent stats, but its hard to tell since you never know with admissions at these types of schools. Are you planning to continue your varsity track activities in college? If so, speak to the NYU athletic dept., even though its D-III and doesn't give out any athletic scholarships, excelling in a sport always helps your in admissions.

Are these stats good enough for Boston College or Carnegie Mellon.
And how do I contact the coach for NYU.
