Hello Everyone,

You may have noticed that I haven't been on the site lately and that I haven't responded to e-mails that some of you have sent me. I do apologize for that, and I hope that you have been able to resolve your questions and concerns in the meantime.

While my absense has been due in large part to lack of free time, I will no longer be posting much on this board. This is primarily as a result of a conflict of interest with my job. While my work in the NU admission office is, in many ways, simply to answer the kinds of questions that you all post here, I feel that the responsible thing for me would be to keep my job where it belongs--in the office.

Even without my presence here, I have no doubt that you will all find the information you're looking for and will write wonderful applications for the committee to read.

If you want to get in touch with me or if you still have questions that you think I'd be able to answer, please feel free to e-mail me at counselor6@northwestern.edu, and I will continue to answer your questions and impart my advice.

Best of luck to all of you, and I hope to see some of your faces in Evanston in the future (and if I'm no longer in Evanston after this year, I hope those of you that do end up here have wonderful experiences--I know I have).

ZCat- It's been fun - Good luck in Grad School...even though you are competition for my NU D's big brother! He's a Senior Communication Major at another Chi area U...

BTW - Don't expect a big send-off from CC... I think all last year's posters are too busy in school right now!

Stay in touch and let us know whats up - check back occassionllay for a whole new crop of kids to mentor!

No big send-off needed. I just didn't want to cut and run without an explanation. :-) I'll certainly check back, though, even if it's somewhat anonymously.

Best of luck to your son in his graduate school search! I have no doubt that we'll all find our place somewhere.

NewNuDad, I'm sure many posters like me and ZCat will respond on the CC boards. However, our academic load always has higher priority over the message boards. We would check this board on a monthly basis (during vacations or what not), but not on a daily basis. So for everyone who has questions, have patience for it will take a while for us to respond!

Follow ZCat's advice. Or visit Northwestern campus on the information tours and phonathons.
