What is the RC all about? Should a prospective business major apply there? I am so confused, the more I read about it the more I am. =\

RC is not for prospective Business School majors. It is a sort of LAC within a large Sate university. If you want a Liberal Arts education in a very liberal, tight knit environment, go for the RC. If you want to apply to the Business school, go for LSA.

My son is a freshman in the RC. Even though you are in the RC you are still considered to be a part of LSA, not all your classes are in the RC. You can't apply to the business school outright. I think the RC could be a good choice. There is a language requirement that you have to complete and it is really hard.

Call and ask for them to send you a brochure on the RC. You can also go and visit. If you are really interested you'll check it out. I know Michigan has a part of the web site devoted to the RC.
