I currently have a 1270 on the SATs and am scheduled to retake next month. The thing is, I plan to send my app. in this week so that I will have a better chance of getting in. Will my app not be read until my second SAT score comes in, and therefore my advantage from sending in the app. early will be nullified? Or will they just look at the first score? I'm not quite sure how this works...

yea im not sure about michigan beacause its rolling, but usually they look at your app and if they can accept you they will, but if they are borderline on your SAT they will hold your application until the new SAT scores come in and reevaluate.

I am in the same exact position. I have a 1330, but I'm hoping to surpass that for next time. I didn't know if I should wait, or if I should just get it out earlier. I figured I would have to wait too long (3-4 weeks after Oct 9) and my app wouldn't be out until the end of Oct. By that time, it's gonna be soooo much more competitive for out-of-state. I figured it would be better to just send it as it is now.
So that was long and I rambled on, but I sent it early, and if you want my opinion (if it's worth anything), that's what I'd do in your position, too.

Yeah I am leaning towards just sending it in now. That makes sense, Neil556. The thing is though, I won't have the same early advantage if they come back to it later, but I am not sure if I can get in now with these scores.
