Hey all...

I'm applying ED to Wash U, but need a list of schools to apply to in case i get deferred/denied... mostly need safeties! I LOVE Wash U, so anything similar would probably be good. Thanks!

Try Emory. It was close to Wash U in appeal though being in Atlanta made it less attractive.

Some other schools that Wash U applicants apply to are Tufts, Norhtwestern, Tulane, and UNC-Chapel Hill

Um, the original poster wanted safeties. I wouldn't call any of those safeties, with the possible exception of Tulane. Northwestern's average SAT score is 1400, and Tufts has an acceptance rate of 23%. UNC-CH is one of the most selective public schools in the country.

I wouldn't call Emory safety relative to WashU either. It's about the same as WashU.
