As you know, the SAT score reports take a pretty long time to reach the school (3-5 weeks)...

Well, I requested mine to be sent on Sunday, meaning it will be getting to Ann Arbor by the end of September at the very earliest.

Will UMich not start reading my application until the official score report is received, or will they start reading it? I'm planning on sending everything by the end of next week... meaning it'll get there the week after....

How long does it take for them to actually start reading the app once it reaches Ann Arbor?

You can pay to have the scores rushed. I think they will wait until they have everything before they read your appl. I think the earlier you get your app in, the sooner they read it - so it's not possible to say it's uniformly 3 weeks or whatever. The earlier the better with Michigan - and you're still on the early side so don't fret. Just get it in asap!
