I have seen a lot of threads that people post about how much they love stanford? But what academic aspects do they love most about stanford? What can they get at Stanford that they can't get at anywhere else?? also, other than the high rankings, why do people love the Stanford Engineering school?

I wouldn't say that there's anything at Stanford, or any other school for that matter, that you absolutely couldn't get anywhere else. But when you look at the whole package, there isn't any other school that combines such great academics, location, weather, and sports together.

The Engineering school is great because it's very well connected with Silicon Valley employers, especially for grad students. Many tech companies in the area are related to Stanford in some way, e.g. the founders are alumni or professors, so they like hiring Stanford graduates.
