To all transfer admits: What was your GPA and other necessary scores?

Check out http://students.berkeley.edu/admissions/transfer.asp . You won't get any insight from anecdotal stories. Some people here scored at the low end of the scale, but had a lot of other things propping them up - great ECs, community service, an excellent essay. Others may have scored at the high end of the spectrum, and had less going for them. Selection for any individual candidate encompasses a host of variables, ranging from choice of major, grades, 'extenuating circumstances', community involvement, ECs, the essay, and a subjective perception of 'how well will this person succeed at Berkeley'. Usually you want to maximize as many of these categories as possible. I've known people with a 3.9 gpa that got turned down, and people with a 3.3 gpa that got accepted.
P.S. GPA is the only necessary score for transfers. They don't ask for SATs, etc... just grades.
