Hopefully Zcat or one of you familiar with admissions can answer. I am really bummed to find out that we don't have an ad. rep. visiting my school that I could ask directly. At any rate-do you know which they prefer-or if it doesn't matter? I ask because I am having a lot of trouble trying to fill out the EC chart. I can't even fit the names of some of the organizations into the space provided.There is no room for awards, roles, etc.Though I don't have an unending list-the EC's I am involved with are complex and not easy to explain in a 2 inch space. Help!!! And thanks in advance for any input.

I don't even think the adcoms know whether its an internet or handwritten app, except that it's typed. They just print out the applications from the net and give them to the adcom. I would say focus on more important things!!

he is saying it doesnt matter. and it doesnt.

if you need additional room then send in a paper copy. you can also add information on the "any additional info" page on the online app.

i like the online app because i could send it in at 11 oclock on the day it was due :-)

yup, desrt nailed it. I was just saying it doesn't matter at all and if you dont have room fitting it all in, handwrite it. I used the internet one cause my handwriting is awful.

The above posters are correct as far as preference between online and paper application. It just doesn't matter.

As far as hard-to-describe ECs, there's nothing wrong with sending an additional resume and/or descriptions of ECs separate from the application form. Simply make sure that you put your name and Social Security number on any additional materials that you send the adcom, and NU will add it to your file, regardless of whether or not you used the online app.
