ok, so I'm researching for my essays, and all I come up with for dancing is the Dance Team and the Ballroom Dance Team. the 1st one seems more poms than dance and tho i would love to begin ballroom dancing, I'm also looking for a group that dances to perform and has more styles than the Dance Team seems to have. Does one exist? If not, can I say I want to start one in my essay? Help! thanks so much

UMich does have ballroom dancing, salsa, and merengue. I don't know if they have huge clubs, but they do exist. They also have an all female Indian dance group. They performed at this year's new student convocation and they were really good. Also, Umich has what is called Dance Marathon. It really doesn't have much to do with dance perfromance. It is a charity organizaton that meets all year to plan a dance marathon. People dance for hours and hours to raise money for sick children. There are so many opportunites here - good luck with your essays!

yeah, so nothing like ballet, jazz, tap and stuff. or chinese? hehe i'm writing bout starting them! wow, i thought they'd def have dance at a school so big! thanks for ur help!

actually, i was talking more about extra-curricular dancing. i don't want to STUDY dance. but thanks for the interesting site! maybe i'm just stupid or something, but i didn't see anything about an extra-curricular dance group. hmmm, maybe i'll e-mail the school
