I'm a HS Sophomore. My school offers only 4 APs.
What should I do about that. I have plans to attend Yale Harvard G-Town & some other top schools.I know I'll probably take some local CC classes. I will take 2 of them before graduation but the other two i can't take them. Any ideas or suggestions. i know that top schools like to see APs. I want to major in poltical science. Do u know of any Summer programs

This may not be the best place to post your question. You may have better luck in "High School Life and Pre-College Issues" or possibly "What Are My Chances." However, since I have already started a post, I will give you my take on your situation: when you apply to a college, they ask for a "high school profile" which shows statistics on your school and information such as how many APs your school offers. If your school only offers 4 APs, then the colleges you apply to are aware that that is all you had access to, and they don't hold it against you. However, these schools you are looking at are VERY competitive, so even if, say, 16 AP classes were offered, and you took all of them, that in no was guarentees you get accepted. Try and do other things (like start a club or do something outside of school) that will make you stand out from the crowd. If you are still worried, see if your school will allow you to self-study a few AP classes.
