Do they require SAT IIs? All the sites say "required for some"...I have Bio & Writing but do they follow the rule of 3? Then I have to wait to take my Oct test...or can I send in my two scores.
Also, I screwed up on my Chinese SAT (which is obviously very bad, native language) and got mid 500s but I KNOW I will get 750+ in Nov, but that is waaaaaaaaay too late for rolling admissions...what to do about this? Any recoms?

No, they do not require SAT II's and I'm told they don't even look at them.
Call them to make sure.

Take the ACT and do well on it, that's my advice.

Why?

The ACT has all that extra stuff that the SATI doesn't have. So, if a college expects SATI and SATIIs, you can send an ACT, and it will acount for not only the SATI, but the SATIIs.
So I guess this guy is saying whether you do need them or don't, with the ACT, you'll be safe either way.
Did I get it right?

I already have SAT I and 3 SAT II scores. Howver I screwed up on my SAT II Chinese (the FOURTH score), low 500s, but I know I will get 750+ when I retake it in Nov.
I just wanted to know if they looked at SAT II scores because with rolling admissions, I will submit my UMICH app before the Nov test.

They don't take SAT IIs into account. Don't wait.

I did well on match and chem, but i did bad on writing (550).
When i send SAT i score, would they see my SAT ii's scores as well as my SAT i score(1320)?
If they do, would my writing score look bad? (or they don't care?)
I am planning to apply in late September, so i won't have time send them improved scores.

Yes, they will receive all the scores. But, since they're not looking for the SAT 2's, they might not be added to the actual reports that the adcoms get. There's not much you can do about it, anyway, so no sense sweating it.
