After going through my medical, audiological, and optometric examinations, I was sent a letter telling me that I need to have remedial examinations and/or paperwork concerning the fact that I have orthodontic appliances and checked having allergies ("seasonal allergies") on the DODMERB forms. Is this a bad sign..? Or are they just going through the motions?

PCrunner17:
Getting a fully qualified status is obviously better than a remedial. However, getting a remedial is not a bad sign, just an indication that you will have to provide addtional paperwork. Just be sure to read the paperwork closely and give them all they ask for. Call them if you are unsure. Also, get the remedial examinations completed ASAP before the crowd forms. Our son had to provide some remedial tests and DODMERG turned the results around fast. We sent the information on a Monday and they sent out a revised qualied status letter 3 days latter. Outstanding service!! However, you won't likely get that kind of turnaround latter in the application period. Good Luck.
