Has anyone put any thought into this?

I dont know yet. I guess I have to see when I get there. Thinking about the college republicans, stanford daily, stanford review, debate, and maybe a sport taken for units, which isnt really a class but more of an ec.

Wow, you guys have some good ideas there. Thanks!
Anyway, there will probably be some sort of recruitment drive during orientation, so we can probably get some more ideas then.

Hey, I am a prospective student and was wondering if Stanford would care that I am a frisbee addict. (Since I have no official sports) Is it dumb to include that on the "What I did last summer" section?

Go for it. There's still a lot of frisbee-playing at Stanford on the lawns. Stanford likes kids who are both brilliant (or at least, very bright) and fun. Make sure you have the former aspects showing on your application as well. They do or at least did have Ultimate Frisbee as well? I don't keep up with those things.

eflis- :-P

the mendicants have come to perform at my school for the past two years... and i completely swoon (literally) whenever i hear them sing, lol. Seriously... i slid down about 3 feet in my chair... a difficult feet to accomplish seeing as how I'm only 5'2" in the first place. I had to will myself back up so I could see their faces again :-D
