I a whole bunch of AP exams in 2002 and 2003. But nothing shows up in Axess. Any one else in the same boat?

Amylase: love your nick, btw, but to answer your question, nope, none of my APs show up in Axess either. I think we have to talk to our advisor during orientation and decide which credits we want to claim, etc, before they show up in Axess.

Mine have already shown up. Maybe they're doing it in batches.

stanfordman, dont be so hasty. First off, the only help the credits give you is elective credit towards the 180, which no one has trouble getting. Secondly, there is a 45 unit cap to ap/transfer units. So if you wanted to take courses in the summer at another college, you might not be able to transfer those credits.

Don't credits also apply toward some graduation requirements? For example, AP Calculus credit certainly counts if you're in Engineering or another major which requires it.

yes, it can get you out of major requirements, but not out of general education requirements.

It can get you out of the requirments for majors, but it doesnt lower the number of units in that major you need to take. You can just take more advanced/different classes since you skipped the intro course.

I e-mailed Stanford registrar and they put up my AP credits this morning. 34 units.
Just that I took both physics B and physics C. They granted 10 units for physics B but not for physics C which is supposed to be at a higher level. But these are trivial little things.
