1340 SAT
-accepted LSA, from out of state private school
-needless to say I feel extremely lucky

Wow! That's a low gpa for Michigan. Is your h.s. one of the top prep schools (Exeter, Andover, etc.)? Is your class rank high? Or do you have a special "hook"?

My h.s. is not as well known as exeter and such, but definitely one of the top in the southeast. Michigan also seems to love my school for some reason; 18 out of 19 who applied were accepted.

Early October, after 6 months of losing hope, I was accepted the first week of April. Go Blue!!

Yes, it was a extremely long time. They usually try and get them out in about eight weeks.
