sigh, i never like thinking about this, lol
SAT: 1340(680V 660M)
SAT II: 690Writing, 630Math, 630 US History
GPA: 3.69 in all advanced and AP courses
rank: 32/289(sigh,lol. Actually, I explained the situation during my interview. I took a 3 year course in electronics, computer programming, etc. The teacher was HIGHLY unfair. He took off 20 points from a test b/c I forgot to staple. If you weren't looking at him at the EXACT moment, he'd turn off your computer and you can't finish the lab. Among other things. My friend stapled his test out of order, minus 10 points...Anyway, the moral of the story is, EXPLAIN your GPA, your classes, etc., during your interviews. It can REALLY help(it sure did in my case, lol). Btw, I only stayed in the class for 2 years, lol. The people who stayed for the third year literally failed.
uhh, ECs: treasurer(11,12) of model UN team. Vice President(11,12) of Mu Alpha Theta. treasurer(12) of National Honor Society. principal violist in orchestra and chamber ensemble. participated in All county, all district orchestras(principal for all district). teacher of 2 religious ed classes at church. lector at mass. some other things, I forgot
awards: national achievement finalist. national merit commended. numerous Model UN awards. etc, i forgot.
went to Gtown Summer College, got A- in gen psych(psych is my major).

arent you african american? you have good stats. im mostly looking for white males to post their stats to see their SAT scores. Im worried because i havent seen any with under,at, or around the 1400 mark. hopefully this isnt a trend at admissions. thanks for posting

um, yes, but I am not disadvantaged. Thus I did not benefit from affirmative action. Don't worry, the SAT isn't everything. One of my friends(white male) got in with a 1290, but he had a 4.1 GPA, college credits, TONS of awards, etc. So you should focus on your ECs and distinguishing yourself from the other applicants.

or search the Georgetown thread. Everyone who's gotten in has posted their stats a million times over. Try looking at the April/May posts, or December 15-ish for early action
