I will be applying early decision and one part I believe that'll make me stand out is that when I visited Washington University in St. Louis, the senior assistant admissions director Jeremy Rafael left a note in my information packet to see him after the information session. Turns out he's an alumn of my high school and he's excited that a Stuy student has come to visit.

if anything hurts you, it's your comming from a well-known school where a lot of people apply to wash. u

Yes it might, but most of the Stuy kids are waitlisted because they are too busy trying to get into Harvard/Yale/Princeton/Brown.

Wash U unlike other schools plays the "interest" part a lot in their admissions process.
