question- are freshmen or any student for that matter alloted a parking lot off campus for parking their cars?

i don't think so. I've heard that there's virtually no parking on campus, and it's expensive to park off campus.

so no students bring cars? that sucks, basically no freedom outside of campus

If you do bring a car and have to pay outside parking fees someone told me it runs about $800 a month. Pj, there is no need for a car. DC has a very good metro/bus/taxi system and Georgetown provides the GUTS busses for the students to get around for free. Most things are within walking distance.

this is true, im not used to public transportation but dont mind it. the metro was alright when i visited d.c a few times. im pretty much referring how hard it will be to get to places outside of washington.
